Relevant date: 20/11/26 We are looking for some ‘Day in the Life’ videos for undergraduate medicine, to use on our social media pages but also in our conversion comms to medicine applicants. What
I’m looking for to start off with is one home student and one international student – Yr2 onwards – to film and edit a short social video each around the ‘Day in the life of a medical student’ theme – showing their routine from when they get up to the end of the day.
We’re not going to be prescriptive about what is included and the style it’s edited in, but we will provide some standard guidance which is given to everyone who creates social content for the University. Ideally I would like to have these submitted by the end of the year.
Each video will be paid for 8 hours of time via JobShop (so the student creators will need to have a valid Right To Work check already set up). To put themselves forwards, if students can email me directly at pearsonl6@cardiff.ac.uk with some examples of other video content they’ve done – this can be from their own social media pages and be on any subject, I just want to make sure that they have edited video content before. If this works well then I have sign off for a few more, so if students aren’t successful this time around I may be in touch in the future.
