Association of Palliative Medicine Events

Hello all!

I am from the Associate of Palliative Medicine -Juniors group (aimed at supporting medical students and pre-specialty trainees to IMT3) - and excited to announce our latest virtual events:

First is our Symptom Webinar Mini-Series, focusing on core symptom management in cased based scenarios:

  • Pain and Breathlessness - 29th April 19:00 - 20:30 - click here to find out more and register!

  • Nausea and Agitation - 13th May 19:00 - 20:30 - click here to find out more and sign up!

The other exciting event we have is part of the monthly webinar series for APM Education - Palliative Care in the ICU - once again directly focussing on pre-specialty trainees, this will be an insight into the integration of palliative care into intensive care, and how we can incorporate both into our care for the most unwell patients in the hospital.

Palliative Care in the ICU - 2nd June 19:00 - 20:30 - click here to sign up!

These talks are all FREE if you are an APM member (which is free for medical students and a significantly reduced fee for foundation and IMT doctors)

Please do get in touch if you have any other queries or questions - we are here to provide support for you! We are on Facebook, Instagram and X, or you are welcome to contact us via submissions.apmj@gmail.com
