MedSoc Discounted Gym Membership 2025/26

These can be purchased from the MedSoc SU page for £156 and will give you access the both the SU and Talybont gym facilities, as well as all of the usual perks. Unfortunately, no reimbursement can be given if you already purchased a standard gym membership. For this discount to work, you will need to fill in the form (attached below and after purchase) so your details can be forwarded to the system. This process is manual so it may take a couple of days for your membership to become active and for you to receive a confirmation email.

Discounted memberships are only available via MedSoc – purchases must be processed through the MedSoc SU Page.
You must provide your: Proof of Purchase, Full Name, Student Email and Student ID using the form provided.
MedSoc will be invoiced for all discounted memberships after the offer closes (31st October).
Memberships will be activated within 2–3 working days after purchase. You’ll receive a confirmation email from MedSoc once it’s live.
No refunds can be issued if you’ve already bought a full-price membership.

Q: Can I use the gym right after purchasing?
A: Not immediately – wait for the confirmation email from MedSoc (within 2–3 working days).
Q: I’ve received the confirmation email. What now?
A: Head to any Uni gym location with your student ID. Let the reception know your MedSoc discounted membership is active – they’ll help set you up and show you around.
Q: I already bought a full-price membership – can I get a refund?
A: Unfortunately, no refunds are available once a full-price membership is purchased.
Q: Can I buy this in person at the gym?
A: No – this offer is only available through the MedSoc SU Page.
